Behold the best Creamy Chia Seed Pudding that’s quick and easy to make – no overnight gibberish either! Although I do tend to make mine early evening so I can have them ready to go by morning. For convenience sake is all.
Before I start – I wanted to wish Happy Ramadan to all of you who are observing this holy month! This is my fav time of the year. From the beautiful decorations we put up to all the delicious foods we prepare every night, I love everything about it; especially the spiritual aspect and the mental and physical strength you gain from this month.
Ramadan for me is a reminder that you don’t need much to live happy. Aside from good health and family, all else is generally speaking a want and not a need. Of course food and water are a must, but the way we eat and think about food these days, fasting allows you to take a step back and shifts your focus on other things.
I actually can’t believe a week has already gone by! This month goes by so fast and believe it or not, it makes me sad to see it go so quickly every year. It’s a beautiful month.
Speaking of beautiful, this Quick Creamy Chia Pudding recipe I’m about to share with you is going to change your life!

I mean I only guarantee it if you love chia, but if you don’t then… what’s the matter with you?! Chia is amaze! I’ll make a believer out of you – you’ll have to give it a try :)
Not only is this the perfect breakfast food – and for those of us who are fasting, the absolute perfect thing to have for suhur (pre-dawn meal); it’s also über healthy, so satisfying, satiating, and as mentioned above, quick and easy to prep!
The secret to not having to overnight this pudding is *drum roll* … heating up the milk first! Your girl is a smart one; isn’t she ;) By doing so, you accelerate the swelling process of the chia seeds, and in no time are able to enjoy a delicious and wholesome meal.
Bonus: this recipe can be served warm or cold. Whatever your preference. When it was miserable and so wintery cold outside *shudder* I ate this pudding warm… it was my comfort food. But now that the weather’s wonderful, I serve it nice and cold :D
This quick and easy Creamy Chia Seed Pudding is free of priority allergens:
- tree nuts
I try to use honey in many of my recipes for health reasons but if you’re vegan, then swapping the honey for your fav natural liquid sweetener is easy and equally as delicious.
Quick Creamy Chia Seed Pudding
- 2 1/3 C dairy free milk
- 1/2 C chia seeds
- 1/4 C honey or liquid sweetener of choice
- 1/4 Tsp sea salt
Berries or other fruits, coconut shreds, extra drizzle honey, for topping
- In a small pot, warm up the milk. You want it to be warm to the touch but not boiling.
- Once milk is warm, turn heat off and add honey and salt; whisk well until combined.
- Add chia seeds to the warm milk mix and stir consistently for a minute or two (however long you can handle) :) to help the chia distribute evenly and expand without clumping.
- Pour even amount into desired serving bowls/jars, cover with lid, and place in the fridge to cool.
- Just before serving, top with fruits and whatever else you like (like seeds, shredded coconut, etc).
