Who’s ready to make the best Olive Bread ever?!

It’s so easy to make, you’re going to kick yourself for not having attempted this recipe sooner!

Let’s do this!

Why Homemade?

Baking bread is one of the best things you can do in your home. Not only will you replace unnecessary and unwanted ingredients from store bought breads, but you’ll also benefit your body with all the good wholesome ingredients by making your own. Not to mention how much money you’d save just by making homemade bread.

A win any way you look at it.

Next time you’re at the grocery store, look at the list of ingredients they put just to make sure their bread doesn’t spoil … It’s a paragraph long! And if only it was in plain English — they have to make it almost impossible to pronounce (let alone comprehend) just so you can give up and say: as long as it doesn’t mention plastic, I’ll buy it. Who has time to decode all of that?

Well, I’m here to tell you that you don’t need what they’re offering you – none of it!

Slightly Obsessed!

I love (and i mean love) making bread!! If you watch my stories on Insta and FB, you’d agree. You’ll usually find me making loaves of bread every few days because that’s how much we love it around here! Check out some other delicious recipes I made like this amazing Cinnamon Raisin Bread, or how about these I can’t just eat one Garlic Biscuits, and these perfect-for-school-or-work-lunches Pizza Rolls.

I could’ve linked some more, but hopefully you get that I’m truly obsessed! And for good reason :)

I know making your own bread sounds daunting, but honestly, it’s one of the most rewarding experiences. It’s just like making dough for a pizza, except you’re shaping it to make a loaf. See? Told you it was simple. :) The only thing that’s difficult is waiting for the dough to proof before you prepare it to bake. So as long as you can muster up some patience, you can make bread!

A Word To the Wise…

Side note: If someone could bottle bread aroma in essential oil form, they won’t have to work another day in their life {don’t quote me on this, but I’m pretty sure of it.} To sum up how fresh bread smells in one word: it’s love. So why not capture that feeling by making this deliciously soft and flavourful Olive Bread.

Just a word of caution: making bread will become addictive. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!!

As always, you can find me on instagram where I share daily stories of me in the kitchen cooking up some delicious stuff! And I also do weekly LIVES and show you how to make one of my recipes from this blog :) Also, be sure to follow me on facebook and pinterest!

When you make this Olive Bread recipe or any of my recipes, please remember to leave me a comment below to let me know how you liked it, or how it can improve. And rate the recipe whatever you feel it deserves! TIA!

Happy bread-making, my friends. xo

8. Fold dough over olives once more, roll to flatten and fold again.

Tip: if you find dough is getting ‘oily’, then add a bit of flour as you continue to knead the dough. This will help keep the olives inside and helps keep the dough intact.
